Tranquil Body Treats

Two years ago I started Tranquil Body Treats in my kitchen. I started with the following  3 products;  body salt scrubs, body mousse and bath salts.

Six months later I relocated from the kitchen to the dining room (bigger area for me to work). Two years down the line and I have my very own factory and boast 80 awesome products.

Tranquil Body Treats naturally therapeutic products do not contain petroleum jelly,  SLS (sodium laurel sulphate), mineral oil, parabens,  or harsh chemicals.

It is quite easy to identify if you suffer from an oily skin. The skin is usually dull, thick and shiny. Enlarged pores are  noticeable and look coarse. Often the skin will have blackheads, whiteheads or pimples.

Oily skin can be a hereditary but can also be caused from poor diet or hormone levels.

Incorrect product use also plays a very important role.

When selecting your cleanser you need to ensure that it is not a heavy cream. After you have cleansed you need to tone to remove any excess grime and oils. Apply a moisturiser that is free from a lot of different types of oils and butter (shea & cocoa).

Avoid any products that contain alcohol.

Never overstimulate your face as your skin will produce more oil.

Tranquil Body Treats has a wonderful facial range for oily skin. We have used Lemon Grass and Rooibos essential oils as both of these oils are well suited for the oily skin type and they have phenomenal healing benefits.

Oily Skin Clay Mask – Kaolin clay absorbs excess oil, dirt and toxins from the skin while simultaneously exfoliating and improving skin circulation. Use twice a week.

Oily Skin Moisturiser - Light and fluffly, easily absorbed into the skin leaving the skin nourished but not oily. Use morning and night.

Indulge in pure tranquil magic with one of our perfect soy wax candles.

Massage candles are a wonderful luxurious treat  for yourself or that someone special. Our soy wax candles will make sure you do not start your massage on a chilly note.

Light the candle and wait for the wax to melt, you will notice that the wax melts to  just a few degrees above the body’s temperature. Pour the melted wax onto your hand and rub gently between your palms. Massage in gentle circular movements.

Soy wax is natural and an absolute  favourite with the environmentally conscious people. It is not made from petroleum.
